Aztrum is delighted to be working with an established, design-led architectural practice based in Salisbury, Wiltshire, who are looking to welcome an experienced Project Architect or Senior Architectural Technologist to join their friendly and collaborative team.

The practice has a strong reputation for delivering innovative, sustainable and carefully considered architecture, with a particular focus on high-quality bespoke residential projects across the South-West and London.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio, including contemporary new-build homes, heritage and listed building refurbishments, barn conversions and pool houses. The role would suit someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects and contributing across multiple RIBA work stages, with a particular focus on project delivery.

Key Responsibilities for this Project Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist role:

• Develop design proposals and prepare planning application packages.
• Produce detailed technical and working drawings for Building Regulations and construction.
• Prepare tender packages and technical documentation.
• Run residential projects from design development through to delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors and wider project teams.

Qualifications and Experience needed for this Project Architect / Senior Architectural Technologist role:

• A minimum of 5 years' UK architectural experience within practice.
• Proven experience running residential projects, ideally including new-build and/or heritage projects.
• Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and SketchUp.
• Experience producing detailed technical information and comprehensive drawing packages.
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, construction methods and technical standards.
• Strong communication, organisational and project management skills.
• A proactive and collaborative approach, with excellent attention to detail.
