We’re delighted to be supporting a successful, award-winning professional services business in Blackburn with the appointment of a Project & Change Coordinator.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with some previous administration or project coordination, change, process improvement or IT project experience who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
💡 The Role
Working closely with the Project & Change Senior Manager, you’ll play a key role in helping deliver projects and improvements across the business, with a particular focus on IT and technology.
No two days will be exactly the same. You’ll be the person helping keep projects moving, making sure actions are followed up, information is where it needs to be and everyone knows what’s happening.
You'll be involved in:
- Supporting the delivery of IT and wider business projects from start to finish
- Helping create and maintain project plans, timelines and milestones
- Coordinating actions and keeping stakeholders on track
- Building positive relationships with internal teams and external suppliers
- Gathering requirements, feedback and project information
- Monitoring progress, highlighting risks and helping resolve issues
- Preparing project updates and progress reports
- Supporting post-project reviews and identifying opportunities to improve
- Checking and verifying datasets to support IT projects
- Keeping track of cyber security training and phishing simulation results
- Maintaining organised project files, documentation and meeting notes
- Helping manage the business' software "Bible", including software reviews and renewals
- Supporting the Project & Change Senior Manager with wider projects and initiatives
You don't need to be a seasoned Project Manager. We're looking for someone who has some experience working in a project, change, IT, systems or process improvement environment and is ready to take the next step.
You'll ideally be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- A confident communicator who can work with people at all levels
- Naturally proactive and someone who doesn't need to be chased
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines
- Confident using software and systems and interested in technology
- Someone who enjoys improving processes and finding better ways of working
- Positive, practical and willing to use your initiative
- Comfortable working in a busy environment
- A great team player who enjoys getting things done!

You'll receive ongoing training and development, with support for relevant qualifications and courses, including project management.
You'll also receive:
- £34,000 salary
- Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm core hours, with flexibility
- Hybrid working available after your 6-month probation – 2 days per week from home
