Our client, Ringway Jacobs, a leading provider of integrated highways management, is seeking a Project Co-ordinator to join their team in Crewe.
As a Project Coordinator, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the successful delivery of our Design team programme. Working closely with Project Managers, finance teams and client stakeholders, you’ll help coordinate project budgets, schedules and reporting, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and accurately. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual who enjoys working across multiple teams and contributing to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects.
The Role
In this role, you will provide coordination and administrative support across a diverse portfolio of design projects, helping to maintain visibility of current and future work programmes and supporting effective project governance. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting Project Managers with project setup, monitoring and close-down activities.
- Managing and maintaining project budgets, schedules and performance reporting.
- Coordinating project information and responses through the CEMAR contract management system.
- Managing shared team inboxes and ensuring timely communication with stakeholders.
- Working closely with finance, commercial and commissioning teams to ensure accurate project reporting.
- Maintaining programme dashboards and ensuring consistent, reliable data across the portfolio.
- Supporting project reviews, finance clinics and portfolio management activities.
- Assisting with process improvements and promoting best practice across project delivery.
- Building positive relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Providing general project coordination and administrative support as required.
About You
We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working collaboratively and takes pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. You will ideally bring:
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Experience of working with project, contract or programme management systems such as CEMAR.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and report on project and financial data.
- Experience supporting budget tracking, forecasting or financial reporting activities.
- Effective communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- The ability to provide guidance and support to colleagues on processes and systems.
- A collaborative mindset and commitment to delivering excellent customer service.
- Previous experience in a project coordination, programme support or similar role.
