UK - hybrid - outside IR35

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the project controls function across complex programmes or portfolios.
• Integrate planning, cost, risk, change and reporting activities.
• Establish appropriate project controls processes, governance and reporting structures.
• Provide accurate information to support project decision-making.
• Oversee schedule development, progress measurement and forecasting.
• Monitor project performance and identify emerging issues.
• Work closely with project managers, commercial teams and senior stakeholders.
• Ensure project controls outputs are consistent, accurate and commercially meaningful.
• Support project reviews, recovery planning and performance improvement.
• Lead or coordinate project controls personnel where required.

Candidate Profile

• Demonstrable experience operating as a Project Controls Manager.
• Strong understanding of integrated project controls.
• Candidates may come from either a planning or cost-management background.
• Planning-led candidates may be particularly suitable, although this is not essential.
• Able to answer detailed questions around project performance, governance, forecasting and control.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Experience within utilities, nuclear or major infrastructure is beneficial but not mandatory.
