PROJECT & OPERATIONS COORDINATOR
Location: Northamptonshire (Office-based)
Salary: £32,000 – £38,000 (depending on experience)
A rapidly growing renewable energy business is looking for a highly organised Project & Operations Coordinator to support the delivery of air source heat pumps, solar PV, battery storage and complete low‑energy heating systems. The company is expanding quickly and offers a busy, varied role with long‑term progression.
This is a fast‑paced office‑based position where you will keep projects moving, support customers throughout their journey, and make sure engineers and suppliers have everything they need to deliver an excellent service.
The Role
Working closely with senior leadership, you will coordinate day-to-day operations, organise projects, communicate with customers, and complete essential administration accurately and on time. This suits someone who enjoys structure, clear processes and taking ownership of their workload.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination
• Schedule installation teams and manage engineer diaries
• Coordinate project start dates and installation programmes
• Order materials and manage supplier deliveries
• Ensure projects are organised and ready before work begins
Customer Communication
• Act as the main point of contact for customers
• Provide regular updates and manage expectations
• Coordinate communication between customers, engineers and suppliers
• Deliver a high-quality customer experience from start to finish
Administration & Compliance
• Complete MCS and BUS grant administration
• Prepare project documentation
• Maintain accurate customer and project records
• Support the wider team with general administration
Business Support
• Assist with day-to-day office organisation
• Help improve systems and processes
• Provide administrative support to senior management
• Take ownership of tasks and see them through to completion
About You
You will be proactive, organised and confident managing multiple priorities while maintaining excellent accuracy. You’ll enjoy speaking with customers, solving problems and being a dependable part of the team.
