The Role

As a Project Coordinator / Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of domestic and international shipments, ensuring cargo is delivered safely, compliantly, and on schedule.

Working closely with customers, suppliers, freight partners, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders, you'll play a key role in delivering successful logistics solutions across a broad range of projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue quotations for domestic and international freight shipments.
• Coordinate air, sea, and road freight movements worldwide.
• Arrange cargo collections, transportation, consolidation, and delivery.
• Monitor and track shipments, ensuring goods arrive in line with project schedules and customer requirements.
• Manage customs clearance activities and ensure compliance with all import and export regulations.
• Maintain accurate shipment records, documentation, and electronic files.
• Liaise with global offices, suppliers, carriers, and customers throughout the shipment lifecycle.
• Update internal systems with shipment tracking, costing, and operational information.
• Resolve logistical challenges and provide proactive communication to stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and operational procedures.

About You

We would like to hear from candidates with experience in freight forwarding, project logistics, shipping, transportation, import/export, or supply chain operations.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience within freight forwarding, logistics, shipping, project coordination, or supply chain operations.
• Understanding of international freight movements and customs procedures.
• Strong administration and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Competent user of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude.
• Able to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.
