Project Coordinator - Software & Technology Consulting

London | Hybrid | £40,000-£45,000

We're working with a growing software and data consultancy looking for a Project Coordinator to join its delivery team in London.

This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to build experience within technology, project delivery and consulting. You don't need to come from a traditional PMO background. The business is much more interested in finding someone who is bright, highly organised, confident communicating with people and comfortable taking ownership.

You'll work closely with software engineering consultants, Delivery Managers and client project teams, helping to keep multiple consulting engagements organised, well communicated and running smoothly.

What you'll be doing

  • Coordinating activity across software consultants, Delivery Managers and client project managers
  • Scheduling and facilitating regular 1:1s and project engagement meetings
  • Creating and maintaining project engagement plans
  • Coordinating consultant onboarding, offboarding, extensions and renewals
  • Keeping accurate notes and ensuring actions and important information are followed through
  • Supporting resource planning and helping anticipate upcoming project requirements
  • Maintaining RAID logs and escalating risks or issues appropriately
  • Acting as a reliable point of contact between consultants, internal teams and clients
  • Helping ensure project and contractual commitments are being met
  • Building strong relationships with consultants and client stakeholders

What we're looking for

The background is deliberately quite open. You could already be working in project coordination, PMO, operations, consulting, customer success, recruitment/resource management or another client-facing environment.

More important is that you:

  • Are an excellent communicator and comfortable dealing with different personalities and seniority levels
  • Are organised and naturally good at keeping track of multiple moving pieces
  • Take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do
  • Can build good relationships with both internal teams and clients
  • Are confident flagging problems and following things through
  • Have an interest in technology and software delivery
  • Ideally have some exposure to software, technology projects or professional services, although this isn't essential

Why consider it?

This isn't a heavily administrative Project Coordinator position. You'll be given exposure to software delivery, consulting, client management, resource planning and project governance, working closely with experienced delivery professionals and software engineers.

For someone relatively early in their career, it's a strong opportunity to build a foundation in technology project delivery with plenty of scope to develop from there.
