Project Coordinator

Sue Ross Recruitment are working on behalf of our client, a highly respected provider of commercial services including electrical, mechanical, data & IT solutions, to recruit a Project Coordinator.

We’re looking for proactive, organised PMO Support professionals to join a fast‑paced project delivery teams. You’ll play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly from start to finish, supporting coordination, administration, finance, and communication across internal teams and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project coordination — Supporting planning, scheduling, and resource allocation
• Project administration — Maintaining documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Stakeholder communication — Acting as a key point of contact for internal teams and clients
• Financial and operational support — Assisting with budgets, tracking, and operational processes
• Quality and compliance — Ensuring standards, processes, and health & safety requirements are met
• Ownership of smaller projects — Leading selected workstreams with support from senior colleagues

Candidate Requirements

• Previous experience in project coordination, administration, PMO, or similar support roles
• Strong organisational skills and exceptional attention to detail
• Confident communication and relationship‑building abilities
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities and work to tight deadlines
• Proactive, adaptable, and solutions‑focused mindset
• Comfort working in a fast‑paced delivery environment
• Awareness of health & safety documentation (advantageous)

Please note this is a hybrid working role based in Sheffield (South) with a minimum requirement of 3 days per week onsite.
