Project Cost and Commercial Coordinator

We’re looking for a Project Cost Controller & Commercial Coordinator to join our growing consultancy team.

This is a varied role combining commercial administration, cost control, procurement and project support, working closely with Project Managers and Directors across a range of projects.

Commercial & Cost Control

• Monitoring project expenditure against budgets
• Maintaining project cost trackers
• Supporting monthly cost reporting
• Obtaining and comparing subcontractor and supplier quotations
• Raising purchase orders and processing invoices
• Tracking variations and client instructions
• Maintaining accurate commercial records

Project & Procurement Support

• Supporting Project Managers with procurement
• Chasing quotations and outstanding information
• Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors
• Supporting the day-to-day commercial administration of projects

Tender & Bid Support

• Assisting with tender documentation
• Obtaining and collating subcontractor pricing
• Preparing pricing schedules and comparison sheets
• Supporting bid submissions
• Maintaining supplier databases

Funding & Grant Applications

• Collating supporting evidence
• Preparing grant claim documentation
• Tracking eligible expenditure
• Liaising with funding bodies

About You

We’re looking for someone with 2–5 years’ experience in construction, quantity surveying, commercial administration, procurement or project controls.

You’ll be commercially minded, organised and confident working with numbers, spreadsheets and multiple projects. An HNC/HND in Construction, Quantity Surveying or Project Management is desirable, but relevant industry experience will also be considered.
