Project Design Lead - Water

• £60-£70 per hour Inside IR35

Advance TRS are looking for an experienced Project Design Lead to provide engineering leadership and design support across major water and wastewater infrastructure projects.

The Role

• Lead design development for membrane process water treatment works, pumping stations, pipelines, shafts, deep pressure tanks and associated infrastructure.
• Coordinate with Senior Project Design Leads to monitor progress, risks, resources, budgets and programme.
• Support technical teams to resolve design and delivery issues.
• Review and develop design and contract specifications for major water and wastewater projects.
• Identify risks and potential programme delays, escalating where required.
• Support the team through DCO pre-examination and examination periods.

About You

• Degree-qualified in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 10+ years' experience in the water/wastewater sector.
• APM/Project Management qualification desirable.
• Chartered Engineer or working towards Chartership.
• Strong experience with planning, design development and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, coordination and report-writing skills.
• Experience with DCO, Transport & Works Act Order or hybrid parliamentary bill documentation desirable.
