Our valued client is a Prestigious London based Building Contractor

They’re looking for an experienced Project Electrician to join their growing team, working across a diverse range of commercial and residential projects in London.

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician who takes pride in delivering high-quality work and enjoys working in high-profile, occupied buildings where professionalism, technical expertise and customer service really matter.

You’ll work alongside Contracts Managers, Operations Managers, clients, colleagues and suppliers, playing an important role in delivering electrical installations safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

What you'll be doing

As a Project Electrician, your role will include:

• Installing and maintaining electrical systems in accordance with 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Installing lighting, small power, containment and associated electrical systems.
• Carrying out fault-finding on existing electrical installations.
• Undertaking site surveys independently or alongside clients to establish requirements.
• Providing clear technical information and professional assessments to Contracts Managers and clients.
• Working with lighting control systems, including DALI and Exor.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, accurately and in accordance with relevant regulations and customer requirements.
• Identifying issues and opportunities that can be raised with clients.
• Building strong relationships with existing customers and helping to deliver the excellent service that encourages repeat business.

What they're looking for in the Project Electrcian

We’re looking for someone who combines strong technical ability with a professional, customer-focused approach.

You'll ideally have:

• BS7671 / 18th Edition qualification.
• C&G 2391 Testing & Inspection.
• Relevant electrical installation experience.
• A CSCS Card.
• Familiarity with NICEIC requirements.
• Good knowledge of electrical installations, wiring, containment, lighting and small power.
• Strong awareness of health & safety requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The ability to work independently as well as effectively within a small team.
• A proactive, positive can-do attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• The ability to plan, prioritise and work effectively under pressure.
• Strong customer service skills and a professional work ethic.

Experience with DALI and Exor lighting control systems would be advantageous.
