We’re looking for an ambitious Project Engineer who wants to develop into a Project Manager and build a long-term career with a growing business.
This role would suit an experienced Project Engineer or an ambitious Electrical/EC&I Engineer looking to take the next step into project management.
The Role
You will support the successful delivery of EC&I projects from enquiry through to completion, including:
- Planning and coordinating EC&I projects
- Managing site activities, subcontractors and suppliers
- Liaising with clients and internal engineering teams
- Monitoring project programmes, costs and progress
- Producing project documentation and technical reports
- Supporting commercial and technical delivery
- Ensuring projects are delivered safely on time and to the highest quality standards
About You
You’ll ideally have:
- HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical, Control & Instrumentation Engineering (or a related discipline)
- Competency in the use of Microsoft Office Systems re: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project
- Experience within industrial, utilities, energy or process sectors
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach
- A full UK driving licence
- The ambition to progress into Project Management
