About the role [Company] is a [FMCG / automotive / industrial] manufacturer investing in new lines and equipment. We need a Project Engineer to deliver capital projects safely, on time and on budget.
What you will do
- Scope, plan and deliver engineering projects, from new machinery to line upgrades
- Write specifications and manage suppliers and contractors
- Track budgets, timelines and risks, and report progress to management
- Oversee installation, commissioning and handover to production
- Make sure projects meet health, safety and CDM requirements
- Work with production, maintenance and quality teams throughout
What you need
- Degree or HNC in Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 3+ years in a project or engineering role in manufacturing
- Experience managing contractors and equipment installations
- Good knowledge of machinery safety and CDM
- Strong planning and communication skills
Nice to have
- Experience with capital projects of £250k+
- Project management training (APM, PRINCE2 or similar)
- CAD skills (AutoCAD or SolidWorks)
