A growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is expanding its Civil & Structural team in Manchester and is looking for an ambitious Project Engineer to join the business.
This is an opportunity to work across a varied project portfolio, collaborate with experienced engineers and take genuine ownership of your designs and project delivery.
�� WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll be involved in the delivery of civil and structural engineering projects, working alongside architects, contractors and multidisciplinary design teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Civil and structural engineering design
- Structural analysis and design calculations
- Drainage, infrastructure and external works
- Foundations, steelwork, concrete and structural elements
- Producing technical drawings, specifications and reports
- Coordinating designs across multidisciplinary teams
- Supporting projects from concept through detailed design and construction
- Liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants
- Attending site visits and technical meetings
- Supporting junior engineers and contributing to the development of the wider team

�� WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?
We're looking for someone with:
- A degree/HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Relevant consultancy/design experience
- Experience delivering civil and/or structural engineering designs
- Good understanding of UK design standards and regulations
- Experience with relevant engineering software
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- A genuine interest in multidisciplinary engineering
- Ideally, progress towards ICE or IStructE membership/Chartership
