Project Engineer

Proactive Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting for our client based in the Minworth area for a Project Engineer. 

You will be responsible for planning, managing and delivering engineering projects that improve manufacturing capablity. You will be required to produce and interpret technical drawings, manage contractors / suppliers, introduce new quipment and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget. 

Key responsibilties: 

• Lead projects
• Produce, review and amintain CAD drawings
• Specify, procure, install and commisison new machinery 
• Manage project budgets and risks 
• Manage contractors and supervise work on site. 
• Manage suppliers
• Drive continuous improvement and manufacturing optimisation 
• Ensure compliance with health and safety 

Ideally, you will have HNC / HND in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing or mechatronic engineering. 

• You must also have CAD (solidworks / AutoCAD or equilavent. 
• Project management 
• Problem solving and root cause analysis 
• Stakeholder management
