£70,000 to £75,000 + bonus + pension + healthcare + 25 days holiday + bank holidays + development and progression

Are you an experienced Project Engineer with an electrical or electronic engineering background?

Do you want to work on high accuracy metering and grid monitoring projects from design through to testing and commissioning?

Our client is a leading organisation within the energy and metering sector, delivering specialist engineering solutions across the UK. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team and play a key role in delivering complex metering and grid monitoring projects.

You will provide technical leadership across the full project lifecycle, covering design, documentation, testing, installation, commissioning and client handover. Working alongside Project Managers and customers, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, accurately and to agreed time, cost and quality requirements.

The ideal candidate will have an electrical or electronic engineering background, with knowledge of high accuracy metering, grid monitoring, SCADA or communication networks. You will have strong problem solving skills, excellent organisation and the flexibility to balance office based engineering with travel to sites across the UK.

The role:

• Deliver projects from design to handover

• Manage technical documentation

• Lead FAT, FIT and SIT testing

• Support installation and commissioning

• Work with Project Managers and customers
