Built a solid grounding in Hydrogeology and ready to take more responsibility for your own projects?

This Cork role gives you the opportunity to build on your technical experience while becoming more involved in project delivery. You'll work across renewables, infrastructure, power, industrial and built environment projects, combining fieldwork with hydrogeological assessment, interpretation and reporting.

The Role

You'll be involved in:

* Planning and undertaking hydrogeological field programmes
* Supervising borehole drilling, geological logging and well installation
* Hydrogeological testing and groundwater/surface water monitoring
* Interpreting data and developing Conceptual Site Models
* Hydrogeological Risk Assessments and Impact Appraisals
* Hydrogeological calculations, groundwater modelling and reporting
* Preparing water chapters for Environmental Impact Assessment
* Supporting water permitting and licensing work
* Managing project delivery and liaising with clients and stakeholders

You'll also gain exposure to hydrology, flood risk and drainage, working alongside specialists across the wider water and environmental disciplines.

About You

You'll have good experience in Hydrogeology and/or Hydrology, ideally within consultancy or a similar commercial environment, backed by a degree in Geoscience, Hydrogeology, Hydrology or a related discipline.

Experience of EIA water assessments, Conceptual Site Models and field programmes would be particularly relevant. Strong technical reporting skills and some understanding of water permitting or licensing are also important.

GIS experience would be useful, and a full clean driving licence is required.
