Project Management Business Partner

Morson are currently recruiting for a Project Management Business Partner to support the delivery of CAPEX, construction, and infrastructure projects within a complex engineering environment.

This role will work closely with the Project Lead and multi-functional teams to ensure successful delivery from project inception through to completion.

Location: Broughton (Onsite)
Rate: £39.04 per hour Umbrella / £29.18 per hour PAYE
Duration: 12-month contract (likely extension)
Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5-day week)

Key Responsibilities
  • Support delivery of CAPEX and construction projects from feasibility through to handover
  • Establish and maintain project governance and reporting structures
  • Develop and manage project plans, schedules, and milestones
  • Support budget management, cost tracking, and forecasting
  • Identify and manage project risks and opportunities
  • Engage and manage stakeholders across all levels
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and design teams
  • Monitor project progress, ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards
  • Produce clear reporting, documentation, and project updates
Requirements
  • Strong experience in project management (3–5+ years)
  • Background in construction, infrastructure, or CAPEX projects
  • Experience with stakeholder management and project coordination
  • Knowledge of project governance, risk, and budget management
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proficiency with MS Project, SharePoint, or similar tools
Desirable
  • Experience in regulated or engineering environments
  • Exposure to large-scale site or facilities projects
