Project Manager

This is a long term contract opportunity focused on driving projects from concept through to delivery within a fast-paced, highly technical automotive environment.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the end-to-end delivery of automotive engineering projects, from initiation through to completion
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring alignment with scope, timing, and budget requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Supply Chain
- Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation where required
- Track and report on project progress, performance metrics, and milestones to key stakeholders
- Ensure effective communication across internal teams and external partners
- Support programme governance activities including documentation, reporting, and stakeholder reviews
- Drive continuous improvement across project delivery processes and methodologies
- Proven experience as a Project Manager within the engineering sector
- Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery within a manufacturing environment
- Experience managing cross-functional engineering teams
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency with project planning tools (e.g. MS Project or equivalent)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Formal project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, APM, PMP)
- Experience working within OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, or high-performance automotive environments
- Exposure to NPI (New Product Introduction) or vehicle programme delivery
- Familiarity with ERP or PLM systems
- Hybrid role based in Norfolk
- Competitive rate depending on experience
