We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team based in Irvine!


We’re seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager who thrives on complex, design-led projects and enjoys delivering results in highly regulated environments. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams across the Chemical, Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, and Life Science sectors.


This role is also part of a clear succession plan and is ideally suited to an ambitious professional looking to progress into a more senior leadership position.

Ideally looking for candidates to have the following skills:


  • 8+ years' project management experience
  • Familiarity of working within design project management space
  • Select, lead and motivate your project team from both internal and external stakeholder organisations
  • Main point of contact with client. 
  • Commercial point of contact with client. 
  • Familiar with project execution methodology & standards.
  • Initiate the project - check feasibility, review proposal and work out, teams and resources
  • Develop and maintain project plan in conjunction with client & lead engineers, this will include setting goals and objectives, defining roles and producing schedules and timelines for tasks - in accordance with the needs of your client.
  • Prepare progress reports for client & management (on agreed regularity). 
  • Co-ordinate and monitor site activities. 
  • General administration of the Project.
  • Project change control
  • Carry out monitoring and control activities in order to track the progress of the project (for both schedule & budget)
  • Identify and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time
  • Close the project - including evaluating successes and challenges to enhance learning for your next project.
  • Adherence to client contract conditions
  • Full commercial tracking of project (incl. correct invoicing, change notices and budget tracking)
  • Experience of working on engineering projects
