The opportunity

You will lead projects from opportunity identification and planning through to completion, managing M&E, fit-out, asset replacement and energy-related works safely, on time and within budget. This is a client-facing role with responsibility for commercial performance, risk, subcontractors and stakeholder relationships.

What you’ll do

  • Lead building services projects from initial opportunity and scope development through delivery, handover and completion.
  • Deliver M&E, fit-out, asset replacement and energy projects safely, on time, within budget and to the agreed quality.
  • Own project programmes, financial plans, revenue, profit, cash flow, invoicing and cost control.
  • Identify and manage technical, statutory, health and safety, operational and commercial risks.
  • Build trusted relationships with clients, operational teams, subcontractors and preferred suppliers.
  • Procure and manage subcontractor services to achieve competitive, high-quality solutions while controlling risk.
  • Maintain project controls and ensure compliance with contractual commitments, legislation, company policies and client procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to grow project revenue and profitability, and support bids, presentations and client consultation meetings.
  • Promote CBRE’s core values and consistently maintain safe, healthy working conditions across company and subcontractor activities.

What you’ll need

  • A qualification in project management, building services or an equivalent discipline.
  • Proven project management experience within facilities management, including fit-out, M&E, asset replacement or energy projects.
  • A sound understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, IT and security installations.
  • Strong client-facing, stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercial awareness, with experience managing budgets, project costs, risk and subcontractors.
  • A structured and analytical approach, with good judgement, initiative and the ability to prioritise competing work.
  • Confidence working under pressure and taking ownership of project outcomes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
