Project Manager -Highways

Location: Spalding

Duration: Long term freelance (outside IR35 ok)

Rate: £420-450pd

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Highways Project Manager to work on a major road reconstruction in the Spalding area of Lincolnshire. This role will be assisting in a £1.8m active travel scheme to upgrade walking, cycling and similar routes around Spalding. Immediate start for the right candidate.

The Role

This is a hands-on, Site Based position overseeing highways maintenance works, with a strong focus on streetworks and similar, including:

• New cycle lanes
• new road construction
• 278 works
• Supervising site teams and subcontractors
• Ensuring works are delivered safely, on time

The majority of work will be carried out on day shifts.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Highways PM
• Essential: Highways experience
• Proven experience managing highways and civil engineering projects
• Strong understanding of health & safety and highways operations
• Valid CSCS and relevant supervisory certifications preferred

Package

• £420-450 per shift
• LTD or CIS payment available
• Ongoing work
• Ideally suited to candidates who do not require lodging
