The programme covers new piers and aircraft stands, major airfield upgrades, terminal redesign, surface access and transport improvements, and upgraded drainage and utilities. You will work in a live, safety-critical environment where robust governance, stakeholder management and disciplined delivery are essential.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
- Manage civil infrastructure projects and work packages across the full project lifecycle.
- Coordinate design, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
- Develop and maintain Project Execution Plans, delivery schedules, risk registers and change logs.
- Manage technical consultants, contractors and external service providers against agreed scope and performance requirements.
- Chair project and design-review meetings and ensure approvals, actions and decisions are controlled.
- Monitor costs, variations, programme status, quality, safety and contractor performance.
- Prepare concise monthly reports covering progress, milestones, risks, issues and construction activity.
- Manage project interfaces and stakeholder communications in a complex operational environment.
- Support NEC contract administration, early warnings and compensation-event processes where required.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- At least 7 years of experience in construction, civil engineering or infrastructure project delivery.
- Demonstrable site-based delivery experience on civil, airfield, roads, drainage, utilities or comparable infrastructure projects.
- A track record of delivering safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standard.
- Good knowledge of project controls, risk management, change control and stakeholder engagement.
- Previous client-side or consultancy experience is preferred.
- Working knowledge of NEC contracts is required; aviation or other live operational experience is advantageous.
- A relevant engineering, construction or project management degree; professional accreditation is desirable.
WHAT IS ON OFFER
- A highly competitive permanent base salary of €85,000 - €100,000 (approximately £73,000 - £86,000) for comparison, depending on experience and professional standing.
- Primarily site based at Dublin Airport, with four days on site and one remote-working day each week.
- A permanent opportunity on one of Europe's most significant live-airport infrastructure programmes.
- Direct exposure to senior client stakeholders, major contractors and multidisciplinary delivery teams.
