The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Civils Project Manager to join a major infrastructure project based in Necton, Norfolk.
This is an urgent, high-priority opportunity working on the Vanguard 2 Converter Station project. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing civils works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to specification and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the delivery of civils works across the project.
- Coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers.
- Manage programme, progress, resources and project delivery.
- Ensure works are delivered in accordance with project specifications, drawings and quality requirements.
- Oversee steelwork and cladding activities.
- Monitor health, safety, quality and environmental requirements.
- Manage project documentation, reporting and progress updates.
- Liaise with the wider project team, engineering teams and stakeholders.
- Identify and manage risks, issues and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure works are delivered in line with relevant FRC/framework requirements.
- Proven experience as a Civils Project Manager within major construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong civils construction background.
- Essential: experience managing steelwork and cladding packages.
- Experience working on major energy, power, infrastructure or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Experience working within framework environments (FRC).
- Strong understanding of construction health & safety and quality requirements.
- Excellent communication, leadership and subcontractor management skills.
- Ability to work predominantly site-based in Necton, Norfolk.
