A privately owned residential developer in London is looking for a Project Manager to join their growing team. This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with proven residential experience to work on high-quality development schemes across the capital.

The Project Manager will be joining a business with a strong reputation in the London residential market, delivering well-designed homes and mixed-use schemes. The successful Project Manager will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard. This Project Manager role would suit a driven Project Manager who enjoys taking ownership of projects from early stages through to completion.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.



The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will support the delivery of residential development projects, managing day-to-day project activity and coordinating with external consultants, contractors, planning teams, design teams, and commercial stakeholders.

The Project Manager will be involved in programme management, design coordination, procurement support, contract administration, risk management, reporting, and site progress meetings. They will help ensure that quality, cost, and programme targets are achieved throughout each stage of the development process.

The Project Manager will also be expected to build strong working relationships with clients, contractors, and professional teams, while maintaining a clear focus on successful project delivery.



The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

  • Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
  • Residential project experience, ideally within London
  • A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related subject
  • MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
  • Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and residential development processes
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive and professional approach to project delivery
