A leading construction consultancy in London is looking for a Project Manager with data centre experience to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work on technically complex, high-value schemes within one of the most active areas of the construction market.
The Project Manager will support the delivery of data centre projects from early design through procurement, construction, commissioning, and completion. This Project Manager role would suit a confident Project Manager who understands the pace and coordination requirements of mission-critical projects. The successful Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, and specialist technical teams to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will manage data centre projects through both pre-contract and post-contract stages.
The Project Manager will be responsible for programme management, consultant coordination, procurement, contract administration, risk management, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and contractor liaison.
The Project Manager will also coordinate specialist design teams, monitor programme and quality, support commissioning activities, and ensure key project information is managed effectively throughout delivery.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will have:
- Prior experience working within a construction consultancy
- Data centre or mission-critical project experience
- Experience managing projects through pre-contract and post-contract stages
- A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Engineering, or a related discipline
- MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
- Good knowledge of JCT and/or NEC contracts
- Strong stakeholder and consultant management skills
- Excellent organisation, communication, and reporting abilities
- A proactive and commercially aware approach
