Project Manager - Digital (Contract)

Location: Stevenage or Bristol (2-3 days/week on site)
Duration: 6 months
Rate: £60/hour (Umbrella)
IR35: Inside
Clearance: SC (can start on BPSS - UK Eyes Only)

Overview

I am looking for a Project Manager who can hit the ground running with a series of pre-planned work packages that will ultimately lead towards transformational projects involving the secure movement of data. The Project Manager would work with a team of Solution Architects, Analysts and Integration Engineers.

Skillset/experience required:

• Project Management experience - ideally gained in a defence organisation
  * Strong risk management skills and experience
  * A solid grasp of Project Management fundamentals
  * Ability to deal with a level of ambiguity, using project findings to refine subsequent projects in the roadmap
  * Negotiating and influencing skills, with the ability to establish and maintain relationships and work collaboratively across various levels and with internal and external collaborators
  * Drive and motivation in leading project teams to strive for excellence
  * Any recent experience of working in a the defence industry would be beneficial
  * Any recent experience of projects involving data movement and/or information security
