Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 (DOE)
Package: Car allowance, project-related bonus, pension, 28 days holiday (incl. BH)
Hours: 40 per week
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of large-scale ductwork and ventilation packages on secure environment projects. This is a key role offering long-term opportunity within a growing regional operation.
The Role
You will take full responsibility for managing ductwork/ventilation packages from planning through to completion, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing site delivery in line with programme and project requirements
- Leading and coordinating labour-only contractors on site
- Working closely with design, drawing, and manufacturing teams
- Reviewing drawings and fabrication details for buildability and compliance
- Producing and managing key documentation (RAMS, RFIs, ITPs, progress reports)
- Identifying risks, constraints, and programme challenges early
- Maintaining quality standards and managing project close-out
- Proven experience managing large ductwork / ventilation packages
- Strong technical knowledge, including fire-rated systems and fire dampers
- Previous MOJ / secure environment experience and ability to pass vetting
- Background as a Project Manager, Site Manager, or Package Manager within ductwork, ventilation, or air distribution
- Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and compliance requirements
- Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating manufacturing/fabrication
- SMSTS (essential)
- CSCS (management level) preferred
- IPAF / PASMA (or willingness to obtain)
- Relevant construction or building services qualification (preferred)
