This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing renewable energy developer, owner and asset manager working across the UK and Europe. The business is looking for an electrically qualified Project Manager / Project Delivery professional to take ownership of projects from development through to construction.

The role will focus heavily on grid connection, electrical engineering and project delivery, working closely with DNOs, transmission organisations, contractors and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered effectively.

The company operates with a relatively flat structure and places significant value on people who are proactive, commercially aware and willing to take ownership. There is also considerable scope to develop your career into areas such as technical leadership, asset management or wider development as the business grows.

The role:

• Manage renewable energy projects from development through to construction.
• Electrical focus with responsibility for technical project delivery.
• Liaise with DNOs, transmission organisations and other key stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain an understanding of grid connection agreements and relevant grid codes.
• Manage project budgets, reporting, documentation and delivery requirements.
• Potential for occasional international travel as the business continues to expand.
• Work predominantly remotely with significant autonomy and flexibility.

The person:

• Electrical engineering qualification, degree or equivalent.
• Experience within the energy, power or renewable energy sector.
• Strong understanding of grid connections, grid codes and electrical standards.
• Experience liaising with DNOs, transmission organisations, National Grid or similar.
• Experience in project management, project delivery, project development or a related technical role.
• Commercially aware with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
