Project Manager

Location: South Yorkshire / (Hybrid) | Contract: 12-Month Fixed Term | Salary: Competitive + Benefits

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading global engineering and manufacturing organisation, supporting the delivery of a major international localisation programme.

Working alongside a senior programme leader, you'll play a key role in coordinating cross-functional teams, implementing project controls, tracking milestones, managing risks, and ensuring successful delivery of a strategically significant manufacturing project as well as cradle to grave responsibility and support. 

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple business functions in a fast-paced, challenging environment where no two days are the same.

• Support the delivery of a large-scale manufacturing programme.
• Develop and maintain integrated project plans and monitor programme progress.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, commercial, finance and sales teams.
• Facilitate project meetings and ensure actions are tracked through to completion.
• Produce regular project reports, highlighting progress, risks, issues and key milestones.
• Support risk management, governance and change control throughout the project lifecycle.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to keep projects on track.

We're looking for an organised and proactive Project Manager with experience delivering cross-functional engineering or manufacturing projects.

You'll ideally have:

• A recognised Project Management qualification (APM, PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent).
• Experience in Project Management, Project Engineering or Project Coordination within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
• Strong planning, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience producing project reports and managing project risks.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to coordinate multiple workstreams.
• Experience using Microsoft Project would be advantageous.
