Project Manager

A well-established and growing Project Management consultancy is looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to join their Bristol team.

This medium-sized consultancy specialises in Project Management and Programme Management, with a strong track record delivering complex projects across the Healthcare and Higher Education sectors. They work with a range of high-profile clients, providing a genuinely specialist service across the full project lifecycle.

The Role:

We are actively recruiting a Construction Project Manager to take responsibility for delivering projects from inception through to completion. You will work closely with clients and multidisciplinary project teams, taking ownership of programme, cost, risk and overall project delivery.

The role will involve working across a range of complex projects within the Healthcare and Higher Education sectors, providing the opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers while continuing to develop your career within a specialist consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Acting as the key point of contact for clients and project stakeholders.
• Establishing and maintaining effective project governance, processes and reporting.
• Managing project programmes, budgets, risks and change.
• Coordinating multidisciplinary teams including Architects, Engineers, Contractors and other Consultants.
• Leading project meetings and maintaining clear communication across all stakeholders.
• Ensuring projects are delivered in line with client requirements, programme and quality expectations.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A construction-related degree.
• Experience working as a Project Manager within a consultancy, client-side or main contracting environment.
• Experience delivering construction or property projects.
• Experience within Healthcare, Higher Education or other complex public-sector environments is essential.
• Proven experience managing projects from inception through to completion.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Excellent organisational and commercial awareness.
