Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 per annum

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join an established and growing commercial flooring company, managing flooring projects across London.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager with a strong background in commercial flooring and construction who is looking to take responsibility for projects from pre-start through to completion.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to a high standard of quality, while maintaining excellent relationships with clients, installers, subcontractors and suppliers.

• Manage flooring projects from pre-start through to completion and handover.
• Review project specifications, drawings, programmes and scope of works.
• Coordinate installers, subcontractors, suppliers, materials and site resources.
• Ensure the correct labour and materials are available when required.
• Monitor project programmes, progress, costs and deadlines.
• Attend pre-start, design and regular project/site meetings.
• Carry out regular site inspections and pre-installation surveys.
• Liaise with clients and contractors, providing regular project updates.
• Manage snagging and ensure works are completed to the required standard.
• Monitor labour hours, job sheets, deliveries and project costs.
• Work closely with the commercial/QS team to maintain cost control.
• Ensure all health & safety requirements, RAMS, permits and site procedures are followed.
• Keep project systems and documentation up to date.
• Identify and resolve issues before they impact programme, cost or quality.
• Support and coordinate Assistant Project Managers where required.

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the flooring industry.
• Strong knowledge of commercial flooring installations and construction processes.
• Experience managing projects from start to finish.
• Minimum Gold CSCS Card – essential.
• Strong organisational, planning and communication skills.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
• Ability to manage installers, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Strong client-facing and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Relevant flooring/construction experience and qualifications.
• Full UK driving licence desirable.
