Project Manager

Project Manager Required in Central London

GVR Solutions are currently representing a leading building restoration and conservation contractor based in central London who are seeking a Project Manager to join their team to work on some of London’s most historical landmarks.   

Responsibilities of the Project Manager:

• Dealing with the full life cycle of the project - from being awarded the job to handover and final account
• Day to day running of a project
• Cost management
• Programme management
• visiting sites and having the confidence to deal with big clients
• Manage the teams on the ground
• Strong leadership to have limited hierarchy with a silent undertone that they do know who’s running the project.

The Project Manager must have/be:

• Restoration and conservation experience
• Professional and presentable, with a driven, proactive approach to work
• Commercially astute
• Experience on Commercial or Industrial projects is advantageous
• An understanding of the programming system Builder Trend
• A high level of quality control
• Excellent understanding of Health & Safety requirements
• Good communication skills as well as the ability to liaise with the client
• Documentation & reporting skills
• SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid
