Project Manager – Commercial Drylining

Not all drylining projects are created equal.

Some are straightforward, repetitive, and predictable. Others demand proper planning, technical understanding, and a hands-on Project Manager who can see a job through from start to finish. This is one of those projects.

We are working with a drylining subcontractor who has secured a £4 million package on a complex cut and carve scheme in the City of London. This is a technically interesting project, involving intricate bulkhead details and a programme that will require careful coordination, sequencing, and commercial awareness throughout.

They are looking for a Project Manager who can take full ownership of the scheme.

Someone who is comfortable managing the process from procurement, through programming and planning, all the way to practical completion. This is not a role where you will be handed a fully set-up job. You will be expected to lead from the front, make decisions, and drive the programme.

The business itself is well regarded within the drylining market and continues to secure strong  pipeline of work. There is a genuine opportunity here for further projects on completion if things go well, so this is not just a short-term placement, but a chance to build a longer-term relationship.

You will need to understand drylining and bulkhead installations inside out, have experience delivering commercial projects, ideally cut and carve. You will be confident working on complex refurbishment schemes, and be comfortable managing programmes in a live, challenging environment.

If you are a Project Manager who enjoys technically demanding drylining projects and wants the autonomy to deliver a project properly, this is well worth a conversation.
