About the Client

Our Client is a well-established passive fire protection contractor with an annual turnover of approximately £3.5 million. They deliver a wide range of passive fire protection works across commercial and residential projects and are continuing to expand their northern operations.

Roles/Responsibilities

  • Manage passive fire protection projects across multiple sites from pre-start through to final completion.
  • Oversee fire stopping and fire door packages from installation through to final handover.
  • Coordinate subcontractors, operatives, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Monitor project programmes, quality standards, costs, and commercial performance.
  • Ensure all works comply with Health & Safety requirements and relevant passive fire protection regulations.
  • Attend client and stakeholder meetings, maintaining strong and professional working relationships.
  • Prepare regular project progress reports and provide updates on programme, quality, and performance.
  • Identify and resolve project issues promptly to maintain successful delivery.
  • Support the effective coordination of site activities across multiple projects.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working as a Project Manager within the passive fire protection sector.
  • Strong knowledge and practical understanding of fire stopping and fire door installations is essential.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, subcontractors, and site teams effectively.
  • Strong communication, organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Full UK driving licence preferred.
  • Candidates based locally to Mexborough or the Northern Office are preferred due to regular site and office requirements.
