We at JKR are supporting a fast growing and technical engineering company with their search for a skilled Project Manager to join their growing team!

Project Manager Purpose:

Take full ownership of projects from order intake through to final delivery. Ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with customer specifications, while maintaining a clear overview of scope, planning, and priorities.

Project Manager Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all project phases. At the same time, act as the main point of contact for the customer, managing expectations, resolving challenges, and building strong, professional relationships
• Monitor progress, control costs, and ensure accurate project administration and reporting. With a strong focus on quality and compliance, they need to make sure that all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and industry standards
• Reviews all customer documents and specifications; identifies deviations from standard procedures
• Develops and maintains detailed project schedules, defines critical paths, aligns resource planning and organising project related meetings
• Communicates technical documentation requirements to relevant departments
• Ensures timely interpretation and distribution of engineering drawings
• Prepares and manages the Field Identification List (FIL), shipping matrix, packing lists, and labels
• Coordinates document control with internal and external parties
• Aligns project scope and execution with commercial targets and strategic goals and monthly budget reporting
• Monitors and controls project budget; checks and approves key invoices
• Prepares purchase requisitions and material orders in the ERP system
• Plans and coordinates purchasing and logistics activities related to project scope
• Supports financial administration: billing, receivables, and project-related claims
• Maintains accurate and up-to-date project status in ERP
• Supports coordination of field service, commissioning, and inspections
• Builds and maintains a professional, service-oriented relationship with the client
• Prepares monthly and bi-weekly project status reports internal and/or external
• Follows up the full program of progress reporting, progress forecasting and close out internal and external
• Coordinates and requests inspections (internal and external) as required by the customer or contract
• Verifies compliance with legal, technical, and industry standards throughout execution
• Contributes to continuous improvement and team-based quality initiatives

Project Manager Ideal Candidate:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar
• Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP systems (e.g. Epicor)
• Experience in NEC4 or equivalent
• Strong understanding of project management processes and technical environments.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Piping and Fabrication knowledge

Project Manager Working Hours:

• 37.5 hours a week (flexible Working Hours)
• Option of 2 days per week hybrid working
