Job Title: Project Manager – Decarbonisation Project at Gatwick Airport

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee a significant decarbonisation project at Gatwick Airport. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a transformative initiative aimed at reducing carbon emissions and enhancing sustainability in one of the UK's busiest airports. There are multiple site-wide projects and you will be assigned a package/packages to manage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the planning, execution, and completion of the decarbonisation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Oversee various aspects of the projects, including Mechanical & Electrical (M&E), civils, and construction works.
- Coordinate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration throughout the projects lifecycle.
- Implement project management best practices and methodologies to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Monitor projects progress, prepare and deliver regular updates and reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager, preferably in large infrastructure projects or decarbonisation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) and civils works.
- NEC contract training or experience is a significant advantage.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
