We are recruiting for a Site Facilities Project Manager, based in Yeovil, Somerset, who will manage and coordinate the delivery of infrastructure, facilities and construction projects within the UK portfolio.  This is a 12 month+ contract which may be extended.

This is a project management role covering the full project lifecycle from definition, business approval, design and procurement through to construction, commissioning and close out, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget and to the required standards within a live site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Facilities and Infrastructure Projects through RIBA stages 1–7.
  • Coordinate consultants, design teams, Principal Contractors and Principal Designers.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, milestones, dependencies and critical paths.
  • Manage procurement, Purchase Requisitions, Business Cases and budgetary control.
  • Identify and manage project risks, quality, cost and schedule, implementing mitigation actions.
  • Ensure compliance with CDM, Health & Safety, building regulations and applicable legislation.
  • Conduct CDM inspections, produce reports and follow up corrective actions.
  • Manage Risk Assessments, Method Statements and Permits of Work.
  • Work closely with Architects, Engineers, local authorities, Contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage project handover, including documentation, OEM Manuals, training and project close out.
  • Provide technical and professional advice supporting infrastructure projects and long-term business strategies.
  • Monitor live project activity, including planned out-of-hours and statutory holiday project works where required.
Experience, skills and knowledge required:
  • A recognised Project Management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or PMI.
  • Experience delivering real estate, facilities, construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Experience across studies, feasibility, concept design and/or detailed design.
  • Strong project and risk management skills.
  • Knowledge of Facilities Management, CDM, construction legislation and HSE requirements.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working with Contractors, Suppliers, Engineers, Architects and enforcing authorities.
  • Experience and knowledge of manufacturing processes.
  • Strong financial and budgetary control skills.
  • Competence in SAP and Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate level qualification.
