Client Details

Our client are a well known property and maintenance contractor based in Coventry looking for an experienced and motivated Project Supervisor to join our management team. Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of construction and modular projects from design handover through to completion.

Description

  • Manage projects from initial design handover through to completion.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project programmes, milestones, and KPIs.
  • Coordinate offsite manufacturing and onsite construction activities.
  • Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve programme targets.
  • Ensure full compliance with CDM regulations, RAMS, Health & Safety legislation, and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits and monitor quality, productivity, and performance.
  • Chair project meetings, record actions, and ensure timely completion.
  • Monitor budgets, costs, resources, and project risks.
  • Liaise with clients, local authorities, utilities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Produce regular progress reports for senior management.
  • Drive continuous improvement and share best practice across projects.

Profile

You will be a proactive and organised project professional with a strong construction background and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.



Essential Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management.
  • Building and construction industry experience.
  • Experience in quality control and budget management.
  • Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Fully competent in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Positive, solutions-focused attitude with a methodical approach to work.


Qualifications

  • Management qualification or relevant time-served experience.
  • CSCS Gold Card.
  • Safe Site Training.
  • IOSH and/or NEBOSH certification.
  • Production management experience desirable.
  • Understanding of RIBA processes and Building Control compliance.
