Our outstanding client are specialists in their engineering sector, they are now looking to recruit a Project Manager on a permanent basis.
The Job you’ll do
- We are looking for a results-driven Project Manager to join our team at our office in the UK, Cramlington.
- In this role, you report to the Manager of Projects and work closely with multiple business units, as well as with customers.
- You play a central role in ensuring that projects are executed successfully from order intake through to completion.
- You are responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and in line with customer specifications.
- As the key link between internal teams and the customer, you ensure alignment, maintain oversight, and drive execution while balancing technical, commercial, and operational priorities.
- As a Project Manager, you take full ownership of projects from order intake through to final delivery.
- You ensure that projects are executed on time, within budget, and in line with customer specifications, while maintaining a clear overview of scope, planning, and priorities.
- You coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and alignment across all project phases.
- At the same time, you act as the main point of contact for the customer, managing expectations, resolving challenges, and building strong, professional relationships.
- You monitor progress, control costs, and ensure accurate project administration and reporting.
- With a strong focus on quality and compliance, you make sure that all deliverables meet contractual, technical, and industry standards.
- Through your structured approach and proactive mindset, you drive project success while balancing technical, commercial, and operational interests.
The Job you’ll do
- Several years of experience in a Project Manager role within a technical or industrial environment.
- Experience working in an international, project-driven organisation is a strong advantage.
- Desirable - Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and ERP systems (e.g. Epicor).
- Strong understanding of project management processes and technical environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Customer-oriented, decisive, and a strong team player.
