Project Manager – Commercial Fit-Out
Location: Manchester
Rate: £450 per day (DOE)
Contract: Freelance / Contract
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of a high-quality commercial fit-out project in Manchester.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor on a fast-paced project, taking full responsibility for programme delivery, site coordination, client liaison, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the day-to-day management of the project from site commencement through to completion.
  • Coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure programme milestones are achieved.
  • Manage project budgets, progress, and reporting.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and the wider project team.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are implemented and maintained.
  • Chair site meetings and provide regular progress updates.
  • Monitor quality standards and oversee snagging and final handover.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and technical issues to maintain programme.
Requirements
  • Proven experience delivering commercial fit-out projects as a Project Manager.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and project delivery.
  • Excellent leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • SMSTS.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid at Work (preferred).
  • Full UK driving licence (preferred).
