Project Manager | Kidlington, Oxford | £50,000 - £65,000

Working Pattern:Hybrid – up to 2 days working from home

Travel: Up to 10%, including occasional international travel

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join an innovative technology organisation working at the forefront of advanced engineering and research.

You will be responsible for coordinating people, resources and processes to ensure complex technical projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required scope. Working closely with technical teams, customers, suppliers and senior stakeholders, you will take ownership of project organisation, planning, reporting and delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical or engineering background who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

+Translate business requirements into clear project plans, milestones and deliverables.
+Coordinate internal teams, external partners and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
+Manage projects against agreed time, cost, scope and quality requirements.
+Develop project scopes, objectives, schedules and resource plans.
+Monitor project progress and proactively identify and mitigate risks.
+Manage changes to project scope, schedule and costs using appropriate project controls.
 

About You

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a track record of managing technical, engineering or research-based projects.

You will ideally have:

+At least 5 years' experience managing technical, engineering or R&D projects.
+A degree in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science or another STEM discipline.
+A strong technical understanding and ideally exposure to advanced technology or research environments.
+A recognised project management qualification such as APM, PRINCE2 or equivalent.
+Experience managing multiple complex projects and priorities simultaneously.
