Project Manager - New Product Development (NPD)
Location: Near Stevenage (5 days onsite)

Salary: Up to £55,000 + Bonus + Pension

This is an opportunity to take ownership of end-to-end new product development projects in a highly visible, delivery-focused role.

This Project Manager role is based onsite five days a week near Stevenage and requires close collaboration with engineering, operations, and commercial teams.

Key Responsibilities of Project Manager

  • Manage end-to-end delivery of new product development (NPD) projects across the full product lifecycle
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, quality, and commercial functions
  • Manage project risks, resources, and costs within a structured stage-gate environment
  • Track and report project progress, budgets, and performance to senior stakeholders
  • Maintain structured project governance, reporting, and delivery frameworks
  • Drive continuous improvement across project delivery and NPD processes

Requirements for Project Manager Role

  • Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related discipline
  • Proven experience delivering NPD or product development projects
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and cross-functional leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex environment
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and cost control
  • Experience with stage-gate, product lifecycle management
