About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing construction team based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of a range of residential and commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys leading projects from inception through to completion while coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from planning through to completion

• Coordinate project teams including consultants, contractors, and subcontractors

• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and risk registers

• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations

• Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

• Manage procurement processes and contractor performance

• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards

• Identify and mitigate project risks and issues

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry

• Experience delivering residential and commercial developments

• Strong knowledge of construction processes and project delivery

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines effectively

• Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)

• Professional membership (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Institute of Building) is desirable
