About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a growing construction team based in Newcastle upon Tyne. The successful candidate will oversee the delivery of a range of residential and commercial projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional who enjoys leading projects from inception through to completion while coordinating with clients, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities

Manage construction projects from planning through to completion

Coordinate project teams including consultants, contractors, and subcontractors

Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and risk registers

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with client expectations

Chair project meetings and provide regular progress reports to stakeholders

Manage procurement processes and contractor performance

Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and industry standards

Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
Requirements

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry

Experience delivering residential and commercial developments

Strong knowledge of construction processes and project delivery

Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project timelines effectively

Relevant qualification in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field (preferred)

Professional membership (e.g., Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors or Chartered Institute of Building) is desirable
