Bennett & Game are representing a well-established residential project management company specialising in loft conversions, extensions and refurbishment projects across South West London and Surrey, who are seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team.

The successful Project Manager will take on a varied, roving position overseeing multiple live residential projects at any one time. Working across sites, the office and with clients, contractors, architects and engineers, the role will focus on quality control, health and safety, troubleshooting and ensuring projects are delivered to the required standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to move away from the day-to-day demands of running a single site into a broader project oversight position. The company has a strong pipeline of work, with around 20 main projects live at any one time, and the successful candidate will have genuine autonomy and exposure across a wide range of residential construction projects.

Project Manager Position Overview

• Carry out regular quality control inspections across multiple residential projects
  * Undertake health and safety checks, maintain records and help develop site safety procedures
  * Review works against drawings and identify any quality or construction issues
  * Liaise with architects, structural engineers and building control to resolve technical issues
  * Meet with clients and contractors to resolve site issues and maintain positive relationships
  * Provide the office and clients with updates on project progress and completion of key stages
  * Take photographs, complete inspection records and undertake associated administrative duties
  * Act as a roving point of contact across multiple loft conversion, extension and refurbishment projects

Project Manager Position Requirements

• Previous experience within residential construction, refurbishment, extensions or loft conversions
  * Candidates from a building, site management, building surveying or residential project management background will be considered
  * Strong practical understanding of construction and the ability to identify quality issues on site
  * Good understanding of health and safety, with relevant qualifications or experience beneficial
  * Confident liaising with clients, contractors, architects, engineers and other stakeholders
  * Comfortable carrying out site inspections alongside completing associated paperwork and records
  * Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle required
  * Able to work independently and manage a varied workload across multiple live sites
