Job Title: Project Manager – Groundworks
Location: Norwich Area
Rate: £350–£400 per day (DOE)
Project Manager – Groundworks – Ongoing Contract – Norwich
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a large, well-established groundworks subcontractor on a significant industrial groundworks package in the Norwich area.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a contractor with an extensive workload across the region, offering not only an ongoing contract on this project but genuine long-term opportunities on future schemes.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day management of a large industrial groundworks package.

Manage Site Managers, Foremen and Engineers.

Ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme and within budget.

Monitor project progress, budgets and resource allocation.

Liaise with clients, consultants and senior management.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

Create and review RAMS, programmes and project documentation.

Coordinate all aspects of the groundworks package, including earthworks, drainage, foundations, RC slabs, concrete works, ducting, kerbing, hard landscaping and associated external works.

Identify and resolve technical issues and project risks.

Produce regular progress reports and attend client meetings.
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a Project Manager working for a groundworks subcontractor.

Strong background delivering industrial groundworks packages.

Experience managing multiple subcontractors, site teams and programmes.

Excellent leadership, organisational and communication skills.

SMSTS – Essential.

Black CSCS Card – Essential.

Additional relevant qualifications and tickets are advantageous.

Full UK Driving Licence preferred.
