Project Manager / Senior Site Manager

Location: Livingston / Projects across Scotland
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent

We are currently working with a well-established construction contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing construction projects from commencement through to completion, working closely with the wider project team to ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to a high standard.

The client is ideally looking for an experienced Project Manager, although strong Site Managers who are ready to take the next step into Project Management will also be considered.

The Candidate

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven experience within the construction industry
  • Experience across commercial, retail and/or industrial projects
  • A good understanding of civils
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • The ability to work autonomously and manage projects effectively
  • The ability to work well as part of a wider team

Essential qualifications:

  • SMSTS
  • First Aid at Work

Desirable:

  • Temporary Works Coordinator training
  • Scaffold Inspection
  • Experience with ASTA Powerproject
Package & Location
  • £55,000 – £65,000, dependent on experience and qualifications
  • Permanent position
  • Initial projects based around the Livingston area
  • Future projects will be located across Scotland
  • The client aims to keep travel to within approximately one hour of home where possible, although this cannot be guaranteed
  • Occasional working away from home may be required

This is a good opportunity for an experienced Project Manager looking for a new challenge, or a Site Manager with the experience and ambition to progress into a Project Management role.
