OverviewWe’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of multi‑discipline smart building technology projects across Central London. You’ll oversee the full lifecycle — from bid support and design development through to installation, commissioning, and handover — working across security systems, network infrastructure, AV, IoT and wider smart building technologies.
The role involves coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high technical standard. You’ll take ownership of planning, commercial management, quality assurance, and client engagement, while contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.

Manage full project lifecycle from pre‑construction through to handover
Support bid and tender stages with operational and programme input
Produce and manage project programmes, milestones, procurement schedules and cash flows
Lead design development and ensure alignment with contractual and client requirements
Coordinate on‑site installation teams and technical specialists (Security, LAN, AV, IoT)
Conduct quality inspections and ensure accurate documentation and O&M deliverables
Oversee commissioning, testing and compliance with client and statutory standards
Manage commercial performance, valuations, invoicing and monthly reporting
Act as primary client contact, handling escalations and maintaining strong relationships
Ensure robust health & safety management, RAMS, PPE compliance and safe working practices
Deliver high‑quality handover documentation and facilitate lessons‑learned reviews
Experience
Strong background managing multi‑discipline technology or systems projects
Experience across ICT cabling, network infrastructure or smart building technologies
Confident coordinating multiple stakeholders in complex environments
Skills & Knowledge
Solid understanding of project delivery, design development and commissioning
Strong commercial awareness and financial reporting capability
Competent with testing equipment (Fluke/OTDR) and documentation standards
Excellent communication and client‑facing skills
Strong understanding of health & safety, RAMS and site compliance
Qualifications
ECS Card
PRINCE2, APM or equivalent project management certification
SMSTS
Full UK driving licence
(Desirable) First Aid, IPAF/PASMA, PAT testing
Confident leading complex, multi‑discipline projects
Strong organisational, leadership and problem‑solving skills
Focused, thorough and committed to high‑quality delivery
Comfortable working on-site 5 days a week (4 days considered)
Motivated by development and continuous improvement
£60,000–£70,000 (flexibility for strong candidates)
Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm
