Project Manager - Salary £45,000 - £50,000 Per Annum

Working Hours - Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30

Location: Luton / Hybrid (4 days office-based, 1 day working from home)

What is the role:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Project Manager to support the mobilisation and launch of new services.

This role will function as the operational owner for multiple mobilisation projects, ensuring every workstream remains on track and that critical tasks are completed on time. You will coordinate internal and external actions required to open new schemes, tracking hundreds of moving parts such as property readiness, staffing progress, documenting / contracting items, and stakeholder actions.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys managing detail, maintaining project plans, tracking actions, and proactively following up with stakeholders. You will be comfortable working in a challenging environment where priorities can change quickly and where a practical, solution-focused approach is essential.

About you:

  • You will be a highly organised individual who thrives on bringing structure and momentum to complex projects.
  • Strong working knowledge of project management tools, spreadsheets, action trackers and Gantt charts.
  • Experience coordinating projects valued at £3–£4 million or above, including service mobilisations, operational implementations, and complex multi-stakeholder programmes of work.
  • The confidence to manage relationships with a wide range of stakeholders and hold people accountable for actions.
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth organisation, with the agility to adapt and deliver results.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Lead the day-to-day coordination of mobilisation projects from initial planning through to service launch.
  • Create and maintain key project documentation, including Gantt charts, project plans, action logs and trackers, to ensure deliverables are completed on time.
  • Manage risk registers, identifying issues early and escalating where appropriate.
  • Run / coordinate weekly internal mobilisation meetings, ensuring actions, owners and deadlines are tracked.
  • Support meetings with commissioners, local authorities, contractors and other external partners. Track and follow-up actions.
  • Proactive reaching out across all areas of business for updates and to ensure traction / progress maintained.
  • Monitor progress across key workstreams including property readiness, recruitment, compliance and operational setup.
