Job Opportunity: Project Manager (Education - FF&E)

Location: Yorkshire

Rate: £240 per day

Hours: 7am - 4pm

Duration: 3 months (with potential extension over summer holidays)

Working Style: Primarily remote with 1 site day per week; coordination‑focused role

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee multiple education-sector FF&E refurbishment projects across Yorkshire.

You will be responsible for coordinating and delivering 4-5 projects simultaneously, ensuring smooth execution from planning through to completion.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is highly organised, and has a proven track record managing construction or refurbishment projects within schools or similar settings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multiple refurbishment projects across educational sites

   

• Oversee refits of washrooms, classrooms, sensory areas, and outdoor play spaces

   

• Manage contractors, schedules, budgets, and site documentation

   

• Conduct weekly site visits and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

   

• Maintain strong communication with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams

   

Required Certifications

• SMSTS

   

• CSCS Black Card

   

• First Aid

   

• Asbestos Awareness

   

About You

To be successful, you must have:

• Demonstrable project management experience within construction, fit‑out, or FF&E

   

• Strong organisational and communication skills

   

• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently

   

• A proactive, solutions‑focused approach
